Guar Seed Meaning:
In commodity market terminology, Guar Seed refers to the bean or cluster bean of the Cyamopsis tetragonolobus plant. The plant is an annual legume primarily cultivated in India which can be eaten as a green bean.

Guar Seed futures trade on several Indian exchanges including the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the National Spot Exchange as Guar Seed (Ex-Bikaner), and on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX). Guar seeds are especially important as the plant source from which Guar gum is made that is used as a common food additive in ice cream and to stabilize cheese.
