LMEX Meaning:
In commodity market terminology, LMEX refers to the London Metals Exchange Metals Index. The LMEX is a weighted index of six, designated, primary metals which include: Primary Aluminum, Zinc, Nickel, Lead, Copper and Tin.

LMEX Example:
The LMEX Index has both futures and options that are quoted in U.S. Dollars and are traded in Index points with each valued at $10.00. Futures contracts trade in all months and are cash-settled by computing the difference between the Index on the prompt date and the value of the Index in the contract, and multiplying by the contract size.
